Newbury Velo summer cyclocross series

Newbury Velo are running a cyclocross race series this summer, alternating between Goldwell Park, Newbury and Dinton Pastures, Wokingham.

Courses are typically dry and much less technically demanding than winter cyclocross races, so are very well suited to giving cyclocross a try for the first time. I went along last year and the atmosphere was very relaxed and welcoming, so I would definitely recommend this. You don't need a special bike to do this as last year when I went there were riders on mountain bikes, road bikes with winter tyres and everything in between.
